Reflecting on 62 Weeks of Writing and What Comes Next

Hello Readers,

Welcome to the 62nd edition of this newsletter. After writing and publishing every week for 62 weeks, I’ve been reflecting on whether it’s time to continue, take a pause, or perhaps bring it to a close.

When I started back in October 2023, my goal was simple—keep my meditation practice on track. And it worked. I’ve meditated every single day since, 479 days and counting! Most days, I sit for 30–45 minutes, and I’ve also built in Tai Chi and Qi Gong. These practices have been life-changing, especially during some really uncertain times.

In July 2023, I made a big leap—I left my well-paying job. I was burned out, plain and simple. I didn’t have a clear plan, but I knew I needed to step off the hamster wheel and find space to just be. Writing this newsletter became one of the ways I stayed grounded and deepened my meditation practice.

Fast forward to 2024, and things have shifted again. Early this year, I started my coaching business, Saner Work Life. Building a practice has been exciting, but — it’s a lot of work. Lately, I’ve been wondering if I have the bandwidth to keep writing this newsletter, or if it’s time to take a break—or maybe even call it a wrap.
